           Rilke's Book of Hours has been my faithful travel companion for many years. As I start to prepare mentally and spiritually for my Thailand trip, I inevitably turn back to this poem. It leaves me breathless!

Mediatate on these words with me today. They have such beauty and depth. I am reminded of how much I need the Lord both in daily life and in the travels that I hope will change me.
